David Teie is a cellist with the National Symphony Orchestra and a composer who--for some reason--has now turned his attention to composing music for cats.
He began studying the psychology of music, why we respond to certain sounds, and from there decided to experiment with music that other species might respond to. He seems to have achieved some success--Universal is going to release a CD of his music for cats.
And by the way, he's also working on music for horses, and will eventually composer music for dogs as well.
