The Detroit Symphony Orchestra bills itself now as the most accessible orchestra on the planet--and they might just be right. The orchestra is now broadcasting many of their concerts on the web free of charge. The initiative has been underway in some form for a couple of years or so, and the orchestra has had as many as 15,000 people viewing a single concert.
